Why Our Indian Education System Sucks?

What is the point of the current Education System in India?

I would like YOU to answer this ☝ question... Now, you can give the most boring response: "It's to get educated and getting a job".

Well, Great! so what happens if you get a job?

"Oh if I get a job, I'll have financial security, I'll have a good wife, I'll have little ones, and I'll put them into the education system and the process continues..."

So in short, according to you, the education system is to propagate the human species... what the F*CK?😐

Now, what else is our I.E.S good for? I got an answer and a lot of people say this "It is to create the best minds in their respective fields"

Dr John C James said this and I quote "The best in India will always be the best in the world when it comes to education". Now that's something that we can really be proud of... but then think about it, the best people who achieve things like the Nobel laureates, athletes, cricketers, you name it... They are the best Despite the education system but not because of it...

What's wrong with our education system?

If a student doesn't focus in a class, it's not his mistake. The subject being taught is boring and so is the person teaching it.

The only meaning of class nowadays is this: Rote memorize > Give tests > Get passed > And repeat all that shit again. The whole world is changing but our schools aren't. The problem starts here:

Creativity is dying in our country. This is the ideology of our schools: Go to school on time, when the first bell rings do this, when the second bell rings do that, eat only when the bell rings, move only when the bell rings. In short, just follow this robotic system.

And if you're bad at Maths or Science or the other subjects like them. You're Fu*cked up mate, your parents will always get your complaints from school on how you CAN DO BETTER but you're not doing it. But if you're good at things like music, dance, sports, drawing, etc. No one will ever f*cking care about it.

And if you go to your parents the only reply you'll get from your parents is this: "First become Engineer, Doctor, IAS, IPS... then do whatever you want..."

In short, schools don't value your talent or they don't give a shit about what you love to do. This education system doesn't believe the fact that everyone's not the same. They think they can teach a fish how to climb a tree. And you already know what will be the result of teaching a fish how to climb a tree...

Leonardo da Vinci was also a genius, not because he scored 99/100 but because he was a master of painting.

The capability of learning and desire in a human brain is very very high. Anyone can learn anything if they desire to. Elon musk learnt rocket science by himself because he wanted to. He wanted to make the human species multi-planetary. In short, he had a dream. But the main problems here is the school system stops you.

Students are given information in school and students are supposed to send that information in their brains. And after 3-4 severe stunts like this, students are supposed to give a test to check if the information that they sent in their brain is still there or not. But the main point here is, the meaning of exams now is recalling power, which means how much you can remember. Before exams, you'll copy the same information again and again into your brain and paste it into your exam.

Now what happens after the exam... you'll forget it. Actually, you'll forget 95% of it only after 3 days of the exam. So, in the nutshell, your exam results show how strong is your memorization power rather than your intelligence.

So, to all the teachers, next time never ever call someone intelligent because of their marks, call them Hyperthymnesiac, it's the people who can remember almost everything.

What's wrong with the Schools and Colleges?

Between what the Industry wants and what's taught in colleges, there's a huge gap. Teachers come into the classroom, they give information, students take notes and gives the test and pass out. But students don't know how to apply what they are taught in practice. All the time they were taught theoretically.

And Apply

If colleges provide 25-30% labs so that students could gain the knowledge and apply it, it would be great.

Fees:

Education is very very expensive in India because of the population. Education should be affordable, and in the best case scenario free. But the harsh truth is that it's a business opportunity in our country.

Teachers

Teachers are paid 30,000/- on average in India. How on earth can someone be energetic and enthusiastic in a classroom after getting paid this little amount?

Teachers think that they are building their students life but they fail to understand that their own life is also a failure. Again, I'm not talking about every teacher. This might be a bit rude, but almost every teacher choose to teach because they fail to find a job or succeed in their respective fields. Once again, I'm not talking about everyone.

And one more question I'll personally like to ask teachers is "How the hell are you so good at killing students creativity? You weren't even taught this killing creativity subject... And stop this DISCIPLINE shit, no one's gonna follow it"

Parents...

Look, if you think your parents are the ones that will stop you... You're wrong, not a single parent wants to see their child unhappy. Go to your dad and ask him that you want to buy a book, and if he denies it then you can unsubscribe to my Youtube channel. They tell you to become a doctor or an engineer because they care for you. They don't want you to take a risk and fail. That's why they choose an option for you that is safe.

But one thing they fail to realise is that what if every parent in our country is thinking the same. They fail to realise that being a doctor or an engineer is a bigger risk than being an Animator. So who is gonna tell them that it's the 21st century and there are things like the internet and Elon Musk? YOU will.

My parents were the same, they too didn't want me to take risks and fail. One day I told them everything I wanted to do and all about the 21st century and aliens like Elon Musk. I told them there's less competition in being a Game Developer than sitting in a JEE Advance paper with another 15 lakh students, so my chances of being a Game Developer are higher than being an Engineer. They were surprised (not only because of Elon Musk). You know the rest of the story if you've read my blog on How to make a Game, All on your own, they supported me like hell in being a Game Developer.

This was the story of most of the parents, but there are still some parents who are Selfish. They want to show their arrogance in front of Sharma Ji and Mishra Ji after saying this: "My son got 99.987393927392 percentile in JEE...". These parents beat the shit out of their children and force them to do what Sharma Ji's son is doing. Look, if you're a parent and you're reading this, I want to say something "Never break your uncemented wall after being in love with someone's cemented one".

What's wrong with YOU?

Well, all of that was the above stuff that everyone knows. Now, let's get a little bit deep and talk about you. You read till here and you know it's damn right but next day when you'll wake up, you will follow the same shit again.

You know that it's the 21st century and degree doesn't matter nowadays.

You know that all the time and money you're wasting in schools and colleges, you can use it to invest in the skill you're good at.

You also know that you are the fish here and you're trying to climb the tree and you'll keep trying and give up one day because it's impossible, but you're still trying to climb the tree even after knowing all this.

But there's one thing that you don't know and that is: Why am I not swimming in the ocean? Why am I trying to climb this F*cking tree?

Because you too are scared if you'll succeed in the fields you're talented in or won't. You are playing it safe. And believe me, playing safe is the riskiest choice you'll ever make. And I don't have a trick to give you confidence and tell you how to take risks, that only comes when you focus on your skill and start improving it.

Conclusion

No matter what, there is something that you, only you can do in your class or school or maybe even this fu*king planet. Stop blaming this education system or teachers and schools because they will never ever change.

You're unique. You have different talents and abilities. You don't have to always follow in the footsteps of others. And most important, you should always remind yourself that you don't have to do what everyone else is doing and have a responsibility to develop the talents you've been given...

So just try to find out who you are and do it on purpose... You're born to stand out, stop trying to fit in...

So, start doing whatever the fuck you were gonna do no matter whoever tries to stop you. If you're good at drawing, start drawing and there will be some people who will try to stop you and there will be people who will help you. The only thing that is waiting for you is starting out...
